New York City embarks on $41 million reconstruction of Tide Gate Bridge

The project will include upgrades and enhancements to the site that will aid in runoff control.

Tom Foley, commissioner of the NYC Department of Design and Construction, discusses the $41 Million reconstruction of the historic Tide Gate Bridge in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York. Foley provides an overview of the project, explores the flood control and runoff benefits and discusses the addition of wetlands and native seed mixes to the area.
